rent a classic motorcycle to visit the Ile de Ré
Is there an ideal motorbike for touring the islands?
collector's item, the Kawasaki 750 H2is for rent on Châtelaillon-Plage, La Rochelle or the island of Réa historic motorcycle.
When the 750 H2 came out in 1971, Kawasaki was riding the wave of big 2-strokes that it had initiated in 1968 with the500 H1. Not that the greens were the first to market this type of motorcycle, but they had given themselves the means to release a monster in large series.
The Mach IV was marketed in France in 1972. It took the recipe of the 500 to the letter with a huge ladleful of canassons in addition. The cycle part is also inspired by that of its little sister, but is reinforced. The frame tubes are of larger section, the front wheel inherits a disc brake to replace the ridiculous drum of the 500 and the "big" is even offered with a steering damper.
Mechanically, the mount of Jeannot la Case (Joe Bar Team) is more impressive than its initiator, but the cycle part is much more adapted. The "chewing gum" frame is forgotten and the brakes are finally acceptable.
